Welcome back to our ninth consecutive year of Kayaking for Cancer!

Another beautiful summer day. No rain in the forecast, just sunny and warm. We leave Merrickville and make our way to Rosemary & Charles Bennett's for lunch. Along the way we have to pass through Clowes and Nicholsons Locks and both times the locks had started to lower boats down the river just before we got there. So we had to wait out the complete cycle before we could continue. By the time we arrived for lunch it was 2:00.

We have been stopping at the Bennett's for several years now, and as usual lunch was great.
