August 9, 2008: Launch kayaks from the Kingston General Hospital

DAY 2: Sunday, August 10, 2003

7:03 am
- Danny's grilling up bagels.

Good morning! We had a great night for sleeping last night -- it was muggy, but it was still cool enough to be comfortable.

The good ol' rooster's back this year and it crowed just around 7 am. Dan was already at the grill cooking up bagels. We had a terrific spread for breakfast complete with muffins, yogurt, bagels, fruit and cereal. Everyone loaded up, fueling up on energy for another long day of paddling.

The kayakers left at about 8 am this morning, but the clouds don't bode too well for them. The sky was pretty overcast and it looks like they might run into a bit of rain.

7:07 am - Graham and Kayleigh having a bite to eat.

Today they have about 27 km to cover. Lunch is planned for Seeley's Bay and then we'll be heading for Davis Locks to spend the night. We'll let you know how it goes in our next update. See you then!
