After packing all the supplies and gear, handing out the t-shirts and getting a briefing on the launch, we piled into our vehicle entourage and headed due west towards Kingston.

This year again, we'll launch the kayaks in front of Kingston General Hospital, which is known for its cancer treatment centre.
