8:03 am - Breaking camp

While the kayakers were on the water yesterday afternoon, the road crew were busy unloading gear, and getting ready for the feeding of the forty. This is no small task considering that there's no available electricity and campfires are banned.

Luckily, John, one of the kayakers has provided us with a monster of a pot for cooking and a couple of huge storage bins.

The menu for the dinner meal was pasta with greek & caesar salads and buns. It quickly turned dark while eating dinner and the mosquitoes arrived shortly after.

We doused ourselves with Deep Woods and then John L. played a couple of tunes for us on the guitar before turning in for the night. It was a good day.
