Welcome back to our fifth consecutive year of Kayaking for Cancer!

It started to rain after lunch and showers continued on for the rest of the afternoon and evening. Lots of kayaks were tipped over this day.  We were already wet anyway, so might as well swim.
During the day Micheline called radio station Y101 to request a song for the group.

It just so happened that the on air personality that she was talking to had seen us go by near Jones Falls.  So Mitch wound up being interviewed on the air. After our arrival at Long Island locks CJOH television from Ottawa shot some footage of the group that appeared on the evening news.  Shortly after that we received an email from a person wanting to join us for next year.
The media really helps to get the message out.
