Welcome back to our sixth consecutive year of Kayaking for Cancer!

Here we go again!

Today's weather looks great. It's supposed to be cool and sunny. We made our way out of Kemptville today at just after 7:00 am making our usual stops in Prescott and Brockville arriving in Kingston at 9:45.

The boat launch in Kingston was a very busy place today. There was a poker run taking place on the St. Lawrence River ,and the cigarette boats were trying to get into and out of the water at the same time that we were.

After a late start we were finally in the water and on the way. When we arrived in Kingston Mills, the kayakers decided to portage arround the locks to save some time. Each lock take about 20 minutes to get through and there are four locks here.

A great lunch was prepared by the ground crew, then the kayaks were back in the water heading for tonight's destination Lower Brewers Locks.
