Welcome back to our eighth consecutive year of Kayaking for Cancer!

It's a great day to kayak. It's not to hot, it's not raining and the wind is at our backs. We make good time getting to Kingston Mills for lunch. This is our first set of locks, and as usual John (the lockmaster) does everything he can to get the support boat through quickly. We would like to thank John and all the lockmasters for their help on this trip. They cut many hours off our time on the water.

After our first of many great meals we get on the water to continue on to Lower Brewers. The wind is still at our backs and we arrive at Lower Brewers just before 5:00 where we stop for the night.
