Our first annual golf tournament was held on July 10, 2010.

On Saturday July 10th. the first annual Kayaking for Cancer Golf Tournament was held at the Lombard Glen Golf & Country Club in Smiths Falls. By 12:30 tee off time the day had become sunny and hot and 92 golfers were able to enjoy a great afternoon of golf on a well taken care of course.

Five more people were able to join us for dinner and the awards that followed, where there were enough gifts donated by generous sponsors that every golfer went away with a prize.

A special thank you to our hosts and organizers of this event, George & Erin Tsarouhas, Brad Plaunt and Sarah Christie. The time and effort that they spent resulted in an enjoyable day with family & friends and $6,500 raised for The Canadian Cancer Society. Congratulations!
