We're back after our second day of kayaking.
It sprinkled for about an hour, but the K4C team
were pretty much soaked already from the dripping
water from their paddles...and Jason's water bazooka.
The kayakers pulled into Davis Locks earlier
than expected which meant they had a bit of downtime
to sit around and enjoy a couple of cold beverages.
For those of us who are driving the support vehicles,
Davis Locks is about as remote as you can get,
in terms of the locks. It's at the end of a very,
very long and winding dirt road. But it's a beautiful
spot to camp for the night.
Ann was good enough to cook fajitas to feed the
crew of 40+ which was great....until the rain
came!
