At 12:45 pm, the kayakers pulled into Murphy's Point, a Provincial Park along the way, for lunch. The staff here were great in escorting the ground crew in and hauling some picnic tables over for us.

The report from the kayakers is that the water is a bit choppy so far, but they didn't seem all that phased by it.

The ground crew served up another stellar meal which was quickly devoured by the group. We should mention that a good deal of our food and supplies is donated or discounted to us from sponsors, including bread from Weston's and groceries from stores like Jonssen's Independent. It's terrific to see how much our sponsorship list has grown in the past three years!
