The kayakers sped to Poonamalie Locks and were there by 9:30 am.

Kevin called into the Lowell Green show again today and gave him another update on the trip -- this time most of the road crew were able to gather around a van and listen to it while waiting for the kayakers to arrive for lunch at Old Slys Lock in Smith Falls.

Kevin filled in the 580 AM listeners on our two BBQs in Merrickville today, hosted by Jonsson's Independent Grocer. We just heard that the lunch BBQ was a huge hit, so thanks to everybody who came by for burgers and dogs to support our trip and the Canadian Cancer Society!

Also, a big THANKS to Rosie, who made us a delicious ham, bean salad and brownies for lunch today -- your generosity is greatly appreciated!
