DAY 5 (page 1 of 2): Wednesday, August 16, 2006 Papa Ron and Lorraine.	< back \| next > Welcome back to our sixth consecutive year of Kayaking for Cancer! Another beautiful sunny day this morning. We got away from Rideau Ferry at 9:00 am as planned and had a good trip to Smiths Falls arriving at just after noon. Our hosts for lunch were waiting. Thank you Jennifer, Meredith, Sheri, Elma & Gus.
The kayaks arriving in Smiths Falls.	While we were having lunch, a CJOH film crew arrived and shot some footage for the news. Speaking of media, before we got on the water this morning "Katfish and Kornicky" from 88.5 Live FM called Kevin for an interview. They will be calling again on Friday morning between 7:00 & 7.30. Jenna is back from Pennsylvania and able to join us today.	Now it's off to Merrickville!
