The first set of locks that the group hit was the Kingston Mills Locks -- this has a series of four locks. Their arrival didn't coincide with the lock's availability, so the group had to wait for about half an hour before they could enter the locks. Plus, once in, it took about 45 minutes for them to make their way through it.

Unfortunately for them, lunch was waiting for them on the other side of the locks, so there were a few growling stomachs by the time they had lunch at 2 pm.
