Welcome back to our ninth consecutive year of Kayaking for Cancer!

We wake to a beautiful morning at Long Island Locks. It looks like our last day on the water will be sunny and hot.

Michelle and Andrew Galbraith have prepared a hot breakfast again this year, and Nicolas Raby has provided us with lots of "Timmy's" to go with it. Thanks to all of you, it was great.

After breakfast Kevin gives Angus a math lesson. Apparently Angus had no idea how far 50 feet actually is. He has a better idea now.

We leave Long Island a little after 9:00 and maintain a fairly easy pace. It's not a long paddle this morning. We are only going 5 kilometres to Black Rapids for lunch.
